Again, nothing much to say on these, as I had nothing to do with them. Just doing submission.
For some reason, I tend to not have as much to say about BP as the other comics despite having a bigger hand in it than I do in Blues. I think that's because I'm not really as involved in the drawing process generally - usually Abe just throws me the pages as they're finished.
Anyway, do rather like how this one came out, and we get some information out, including more bringing up of Gaspeed's knowledge of magical practices. That's going to be kind of a biggy later, even though he's not a practitioner, so I'd be keeping that in mind.
Particularly like how Carla came out in the first panel. Got a good chuckle out of that one - figure their closeness is something Sareena and Misty get teased on a lot.
Huh, wound up with a decent bit to say after all. Kind of funny.
Here are Abe's comments -
Sometimes its tricky getting into the personality of people when you're using characters you didn't technically create, hence why fan-fiction can come out a little blunt (which I have before done). However, when things start you might notice that everyone seems to have developed their own attitude to the group. The relaxed guy in the chair, the bubbly girl, the biker dude, and the woman who seems to be stuck in the middle of all conversations. I personally prefer the bubbly types, because every well rounded conversation needs an optimist. Things look to dark then you wind up in indie film territory. Good but somewhat of a buzz-kill for the big screen. Why do you think Little Shop of Horror (film version) didn't use its original stage ending, because audiences didn't like it when plants take over the world the hero gets eaten. Realistic yes, but not well rounded.
