Yeah, Sareena and Misty keep some kind of weird company.
Anyway, not a whole lot to say on this one, but like how it came out. From a writing perspective thing I did a good job communicating what needed to be said moving forward, while Abe's end of things came out great in making it look like a big, lively event.
Also good to get to see Jake again. Remember her? She's pretty important to this chapter, sort of what the little mentions and early appearances of her have been building up. This is her first real establishment though I think, and she'll certainly keep being a regular cast member afterward.
Here's what he had to say -
One thing about drawing different characters is that you can sometimes through in a casual point of hilarity which is what I try to do with every side character I come up with. Of course when it's a big crowd you can always cheat a little bit with the background and make a few people seem like a larger affair. Of course many of them just become side notes and I'm one of those people who loves to speculate on side characters and what they have in common to the overall story so each time I try to develop a little back story, though nothing canonical so much as fun on my part. One thing I would point out however is that last character doing the one handed Keg stand. You might be interested to not that he's not a demon or some other mythical creature, he's just a guy who happens to like piercings and surgically altered ears. I was inspired by 1985 movie Teen Wolf, which is a lot more quarky then the new tv-series but weren't a lot of movies in the 80s?
