Not much to say here- I'm just submitting in Martin's place. I love the background here of course, in particular the pictures on the windows.
Pretty happy with this one, particularly that first panel. Does look a lot like how you'd expect the office for a radio station to look - like the logo for the station in particular, good bit of title dropping.
Not too much else to say on this one offhand, though. Like I've said before, since I'm not really as involved in hte actual page production with BP usually as I am with WaR and Blues, there usually isn't as much for me to relay.
Oh, something interesting it might not hurt to mention about Jake - her name and occupation come from someone who works on a radio station around here. Or maybe worked, I don't know, haven't listened to it regularly in years. Just liked the name Jake for a girl and thought that the job carried good story potential.
Here's what Abe has to say -
I tried my best to make it look like I believe a radio station should look. Complete with secretary and walls of random rock stars. I like the middle one myself, who's supposed to be a parody of the same getup that KISS wore. I loved that armor but can you believe that by today's standards of metal they are relatively tamed. It more about the theatrics which I believe is a great mark of a super-hero. You gotta have the showmanship to set an example for the whole world. If they didn't have that then the costumes would serve no purpose now would they?
