Like how Abe handled the first panel there. That poor cashier looks so scared you just want someone to cut in. Even if she is being threatened by a guy dressed like a book.

I know what you're thinking, there should probably be more cash in that drawer but considering that everything is used these days with credit and debit cards and if trends continue then I'd say that for a book store it seems to be having a good business day. You might also notice that there's a second running joke toward the end. I'd say it's not the shirt that makes her remember the past so much as other things that are happening now but I'm pretty sure anyone could guess what those shirts say put together.
