Weird I'm the one setting it up considering it's got two references to Blue Blood Heroes. One is the "Wanted" poster with Mech, the first villain they fought in the first chapter, and the "blu" graffiti I keep plugging into Atlanta's landscape. ^^
Is this the first time the subject of Alex has come up in BP? Sareena's been mentioned in WaR a time or two, plus of course she appeared in it back during chapter six, but don't know if Alex has been brought up in this comic yet.
Still, he is now. As for what Sareena's talking about with the costume, we'll get to that soon enough - it's not an important detail, thus why it wasn't really set up much yet, but there are reasons why she would recognize the look and that's the reason it comes up.
Not a whole lot to say besides that, but happy with this one. Don't forget Adam'll be taking back over on the art for a bit soon - don't want anyone getting whiplash from that or anything so I like to give warnings in advance.
Oh, on the subject of Adam - funny thing is this isn't even Mech's first appearance in one of the non-Blues comics. He cameoed back in chapter five of WaR.
Here's what Abe has to say -
You ever just had that feeling that while going to the shopping mall or department store there's like a crime somewhere going on and you just ideally walk by completely unaware of its happening? What would you do in a situation like that? Most folks would just tend to mind their own business but every so often you find someone who risks life or injury to prevent a crime in progress. Although, it might take courage or conviction, more often it's simply stupidity. And that's why I love Manga, the know nothing hero is a common element because as Confucius once said, 'He who knows nothing, doubts nothing.
