I like the painting, those tend to come out very nicely, and I continue to like Stephanie's design.
There's more text to this one than there probably should be, though. Some information established handily though, and at least it isn't as bad as that WaR page. You know the one. Isn't it nice of me to provide a real explantion for the family's name instead of, "Yeah, the Blacks happen to be witches. Go figure."?
Next week's pages are done by Adam, due to some time constraints there on the regular artist's part. Still, if nothing else this did get us further ahead of the curve than we were, so the sudden change in art for a week isn't entirely a problem.

Hope to see more of that character soon. In the meantime I'll just enjoy trying to keep things simple, but sweet. Inspiration for that shadow portrait is from that classic Lewis Carroll poem, "How does the little crocodile." With a slight twist at the end.
