Heheh... I hope you guys were reading Wright As Rayne, since this ties directly into the first page for it. Enjoyed working on it, especially the first two panels. ^^ Now we see the anarchists... y'know... spreading some anarchy.
But yeah, second two panels. Think they came out pretty good, especially Sareena. I really wanted to get her into another outfit, but the script said to keep it the same since this is the same night as the last chapter. I didn't realize it before but changing the wardrobes on everyone is a major plus to every new chapter.
I kinda got to split the difference by opening her jacket up, which made it surprisingly easier to draw, somehow. Martin did me one better by throwing in the Superman shirt. ^^ Wasn't my idea, he did that in post.
God, how much you wanna bet she undid her jacket with the big Superman chest-reveal like when he jumps into a phone booth?
The first two panels are one of those cases where it only really serves to highlight that these comics take place together, and to add to what's going on in WaR. Not to say O'Hara's followers won't be having some effect on BP as well, but they're not going to be much of a focus.
Still, that is kind of a nice thing to highlight here given Alex and Laura play heavily into this chapter as it progresses, and I do like the idea of them kind of observing and commenting on this thing where we only see the aftermath in the story it's directly tied to.
So yeah, still with Raymond here! Why didn't he get cover time? Mostly just didn't have an idea, but he spends most of this chapter as sort of a reader proxy to help introduce some of the aspects of ghost-hunting we'll be dealing with in this on so he's not too heavily involved in what happens. Still, really like what we see of him and Sareena throughout - as her closest sibling in age plus one who didn't really do anything in the first chapter, I did like giving them time together. We'll be seeing the others again sometime soon, though not sure of exactly when. Definitely soon.
I left a comment for you on the last page Adam. This page shows the anarchists putting graffiti on the walls and breaking the door while the WaR page just shows the aftermath and is that Christina White in the first panel?
I think it is, though it's sorta hard to tell since I've only got three faces. ^^ Is wearing her jacket, at least.
