And here we are back to Cynthia. Feels like it's been a bit, even if it's probably only been like two or three months at most since we've last seen her. Guess after playing a big part in the last chapter that happens.
Not to say she gets a starring role in this chapter, though. Nah, with the exception of maybe a page or two, we pretty much stick with Sareena and Misty for the entirety of this chapter - Hearst is just with us for this one scene, which is only a few pages.
We get some more information on Eighth Sin's inner workings, always good - that bit about the Paranormal Division being the establishing thing of Eighth Sin's side activities we'll definitely be coming back to soon, but for now it's just something to keep in mind. Also good to keep in mind is that Cynthia's friend is known Flower - don't think that's come up before.
We also see the Candice job brought back up. I think reading the early pages of the last chapters of WaR and BP that the current ones were kind of last-minute additions given that job kind of naturally sounds like it should be within this chapter. That is the next one though, no worries, and within said next chapter we'll be introducing some important characters.
For now though let's focus on this one, since we still have a good ways to go. Think I've covered most of what needs saying about this page with the bits about Cynthia, but we get another mention here of Misty's whole video game fandom thing. Already gave my thoughts on that back on the cover, but do find it kind of funny that on the page first actually bringing up the game thing Adam decided to go with a blank shirt - threw on the design here myself.
Yeah, I've been pretty lazy these last few pages, so Misty had a blank shirt when I did this. ^^ It's actually getting hard to find/think up designs for video-game shirts that I both like and can pull off. It's hard getting a lot of detail on shirts....
Speaking of shirts, you notice how much I seem to put Sareena in V-Necks? I honestly didn't notice until I got to change her wardrobe from the last chapter in this page, but it's like my default look for her (along with a skirt- only time she's worn pants it was Abe's work). I think it's because V-Necks are just very witch-like. When I realized it I also made her sleeves a tad baggier than normal to boot.
Hey Martin since your internet is back all that's left is for Abe to come back.
True, though he's having some computer problems so that might be a bit unfortunately.
