One thing I'm pretty happy with in regards to this chapter and the corresponding WaR one is that a lot of issues I've been meaning to address in both comics have been sort of given the chance to be brought to the forefront. Alex's question here is about to lead to one of those.
Much like the rest of the chapter, this segment gets kind of wordy, so brace yourselves. Nine pages left to go in this chapter, so stick around - we'll be hitting the 200th just before we wrap up, and we do have something planned for it.
Oh, no! Eleanor Rigby is a zombie! Someone get Jonathon Coulton and Paul McCartney to team up and make a sequel-song!
But yeah, that's actually the date of the real-life Elanor Rigby's death. I looked up her tombstone to get it right. Since the tombstone is shared with several relatives, it didn't mention her birthdate, only her age and the fact that she died in her sleep. Just did some quick math to determine the year of her birth and picked August 5th as her birthday. That's the day the song was released.
That particular panel's the most I have to say about this comic... I've been trying out a new way of doing butts lately, having been "studying" them in some print comics, but it's still a work in progress. You can see it on Sareena in Panel 3, though. I think I also tried it on Misty a few pages back too. Much more to work with there.
This is going to interesting and Alex sure surprised Sareena with that question.
Yeah, guessing it's not really something that people tend to ask her. Plus, just to be cryptic here, given what her answer is going to be I imagine there's some hesitation in bringing it up.
