If you have any questions or comments on the schedule change, please feel free to post them and we'll get back to ya on it as soon and as helpfully as we can. Know it's probably going to cause some of you to consider maybe dropping the comic, but we strongly request that you please stick it out and see where things go; there is kind of a move toward moving more quickly in the next chapter given the new format, and we're both pretty happy with how it's coming out so far so please, stick around.
Also, keep in mind that these changes won't take affect until the next chapter actually starts; until that point, we'll be posting regularly with some bonus content and the next cover first.
So, as for the page itself - at first I was kind of iffy about this page being the way the chapter ends instead of the visual of Dorothy banging on the mirror from the page prior, but now, I'm pretty happy with it. I think it kind of gives us a nice moment of Sareena and Misty showing support for each other, and it gels nicely with the fact that while the next chapter does have follow-up on this, it's mostly about other matters. Don't worry though, this matter will be brought to the forefront before too long. As for Moon... It'll be a little bit before we get back to her story, but at least good to get her in a quick appearance here.
With that being said, we hope you sit tight and enjoy what's still to come from Black Princess!
This declaration that the two of them will stick together and be strong no matter what is undermined by the fact that neither of them are wearing pants. If Gwen made a stiff breeze blow through that bedroom, we'd have ourselves a nice big double-panty shot. ^^
But yeah, while I don't think the situation is as strong as if we'd ended on the Dorothy thing, it might've been a confusing thing to cut away from suddenly. It kinda raises questions, like, "Does Sareena see Dorothy in every mirror now? Did she just stand there looking at Dorothy for a while? Did they try and talk to each other?" Showing the aftermath clears that up nicely.
That said, I do like how freaked out and scared Sareena comes out both in the first panel and the last page. She even needed Misty to cover the mirror for her.
God, felt weird drawing Moon again. I mean, it's been forever. ^^
I knew that was Moon in the mirror, so when are going to explain why Misty's reflection was Moon?
That'll likely come up when we touch on the Twilight Minister and co. again, which'll happen fairly soon.
