First off - I'm afraid we're most likely not going to have the weekend update for this month. Circumstances beyond my control have arisen, and the schedule's going to be tight for awhile. Additionally, I might be kind of hard to get ahold of for a bit. We'll keep everyone updated.
God, my mind is a million miles away from this page right now, but all the same... Am pretty happy with this one. Gives some cute visuals, and I like the way the last couple of panels line up. Doesn't really give me too much to say about it, though.
So yeah, next page we get to see Laura put her acting skills to work. If the problems on my end are resolved quickly we'll try and get that up on Saturday as planned, but more than likely we'll be waiting for next week. I'm sorry.
Yeah, sorry about the schedule thing, but y'know how it is. We do try to put our heart and soul into these comics, really, but Life gets in the way sometimes.... We dunno how bad it is, but we'll keep ya posted.
Hopefully we'll still be able to update next Tuesday, where Laura marches into that daycare and does Charlie Chaplin's entire ending monologue from The Great Dictator while admitting the children. Great work of her acting skills indeed. ^^
I really love how tiny Sareena came out as a kid. I really tried to hammer that in and make her as adorable as possible here. I just hope that dress isn't too busy for the coloring.
I just love the way all 3 of them are staring at her in the last panel and sometimes the events in one's life just hit like a ton of bricks so I'm fine with having to wait a week to see what happens if need be.
Thanks for the patience, it's appreciated. But yeah, I'm pretty happy with that shot myself, along with some of the reactions her act gets in the next page. Adam did good work with this whole sequence, I think.
