Woo, we get to see the flipside of Candice's powers! Yeah, didn't stick with the Sareena and Misty as kids angle very long I'm afraid, only been like thirteen pages between when it happened and now it being reversed and a chunk of that was with Jason and Marina, but has been fun.

Naturally, we'll be seeing Day soon then. For now though, we get to see Candice as a teenager; that'll most likely be the more common use of her powers through the comics moving forward, though the why of it will pop up later.

Speaking of, this does kind of all but mark the end of Candice's role in the chapter. Not to say she vanishes after this or anything, but not a lot of screentime after this point. Seems like she's just getting kind of a gradual build between the two comics in being established; given her age and not living in the city, suppose that's about the best you can do without catering the story to her entirely.

Incidentally, this is page 222, which made me realize the next chapters will most likely be seeing BP hit 250 and WaR hit 300. Not entirely figured out what I'm doing for either occasion yet, but we'll see, huh?

Pity; Blues 250 has already passed and it was in the middle of a fight scene, so there wasn't much I could do with it. What's funny is that 251 was more memorable for me because of a single line spoken. Ah, well. Think the other milestone pages still gotcha beat. ^^

But yeah, still pretty disappointed by not getting to see these two as kids longer. Still, I managed to work in one more height-joke with Sareena. "Gimme a boost! I can't seeee!" Ad-libbed, not in the script.

Given between me and Martin we've teased something with Candice hanging out with one of the Blues kids at some point, kinda tempting to have her turn up in Stonewall what with her not really living in Atlanta to begin with. Still, not really sure what we'd do with her; she's not a Blue Blood herself, so there's no reason for her to be in the center, and the only other option would be to, like Martin said, cater the story to her by bending over backwards to find a way to work her in.

Eh, we'll see, I guess. Still have a cross-over with BP planned, though besides more Alex & Grant e-mails (huh... should probably put that in sometime soon, been a while), still no WaR/Blues one in mind.

Ughhh... Great, I spent this entire comment thing talking about Blues. Hate when I do that. Is nice to see Sareena using that binding-spell again. I like the idea of us having a short list of spells to draw on now.

I've done a WaR/Blues cross before, how I came up with the Peacekeeper name for the team was I liked thinking up scenarios where the kids meet Starchild and Alex comes up with that name for their team, this is a great page guys.
