Heh. I really would've liked to put Edward in this chapter more than I got to. He also shows up in the next couple of pages, but he's not all that prominent in them.
That being said, sort of one goal with this chapter was to try and put some extra focus on the ones of Sareena's siblings we've not seen as much of - since they got chapters where they were central to them Stephen and Raymond aren't very prominent in this one, but I wanted to fit Edward in there, give Noland and Walden a bit of screentime, and all of that. The only one who hasn't really gotten that much build-up just yet is Abram, though he'll be showing up in the next couple of pages too.
There's something I'm finding myself wanting to draw attention to here, but it'd be more appropriate to bring it up on the next page so I'll hold off on it. Two more pages until the 250th - be sure to keep an eye out for it.
Yeah, I wanted to do more of Edwin too. Getting to draw him again, I realize just how much fun his design is. Also I just love his professor's outfit. He really does seem like some kind of ominous, sinister teacher. Like Jonathan Crane before he became the Scarecrow or something.
.... Huh. Actually, thinking about that just gave me a creepy vibe. Something about Edwin's design makes it very easy for me to see him perving over his students. I know that happens at the school I go to, thankfully not to me as I'm a guy.
Not too much else to say. Like Martin said, 250 is coming up and that one's pretty awesome to draw, so stick around. ^^
Edward is without a doubt the creepiest of the Black family and he doesn't even have his shadow with him right now, and it looks like whatever's going on here is taking a toll on Sareena.
Yeah, it is a pretty high stress situation for her. Maybe she'll reach her breaking point on it sooner rather than later?
As for Edward, yeah, I kind of try to write him as being a genuinely nice guy, just one who happens to be really unsettling and weird.
