First off - since the first falls on a Saturday next month so it'd de-sync WaR and BP a bit (plus we could use the extra time to pull a little further ahead), the weekend update's going to wait until next Saturday. Just a heads-up.
Kind of a shame really, since the next page is the 250th and it is going to be a big one. Hoping everyone enjoys that.
In the meantime though, I'm not sure how much I have to say about this since most of my thoughts on this scene are more relevant to bring up in the next page. Though there is one thing I will point out, since the next page will be addressing it anyway - anyone notice that Sareena and Misty have been getting interrupted a lot in this chapter?
Something to mull over there. Also, we get to see Edwin, Raymond, and Abram, always good. They won't be getting too much screentime, but at least they got in there again. Stephen doesn't really wind up doing anything in this chapter, but at least Sareena's family will likely be a little more prolific from here.
I was kinda in two minds about this page. I really wanted to show off details to the office, since I figured it'd be a neat place, but also knew we wouldn't be in here long (though my count was off, we're in this office for 3 pages, not the 2 I was thinking), so didn't want to put TOO much effort into it. I did get a lot of mileage out of that window behind him, though. Given the belltower is very obviously important to the chapter, nice to put it in the shot when possible.
Eeeeeven though the window apparently vanishes between panels 2 and 3. Jesus, that's... Ugh. Yeah, egg on face.
Given Edwin's apparently got a thing for gems to place around his neck, kinda wondering if he's got a thing for jewels in general. Speaking of, very fond of Edwin's color scheme here. It reminds me of someone, but can't place my finger on...
Oh! Right, Daniel from the Sandman books. ^^
I have noticed how often they've been interrupted and I can guess why, looking forward to the next page.
