Hm. Panel 7's zoomed out way too far.... Ah, well, easy-as-hell page due to the lack of background. Liked doing those three close-up panels, especially the extreme one on Nine Eyes. In the script, the dialog was meant to be shown all at once, but tried cutting it up. Gives the impression Nine Eyes really had to be talked out of killing them both.
Nine Eyes really does pretty much steal the show from here out. Interest in the chapter had really been waning for me; does that with BP sometimes, especially when schoolwork piles up, but then he comes in and turns out to just be awesome. Provides us with some neat visuals up ahead.
God, my mind's in a million places at once right now. Mostly focused on having gone from, "Probably skipping WrestleMania," to, "Can't wait! Come on, April!" instantaneously. But I won't get into that here.
Anyway, yeah. This'll be kicking off the first fight scene Sareena and Misty have been in since chapter five. Not a very long one admittedly - the chapter's actually very nearly done - but they'll be a little more frequent for awhile from here. Granted, we had a fight scene in the last chapter anyway, they just weren't involved in it. Though even then they did attack those goons... Yeah, either way, this comic isn't as action-focused as WaR and Blues are. Naturally being a different genre and all.
I like the touch of spreading the dialogue out a bit. Does make Nine Eyes look more deranged - do want him to come off as pretty violent and animalistic, with a pretty one-track mind. This scene'll continue, so be sure to swing by next week for more!
When are we going to find out who that voice belongs to and get an explanation for Moon's presence?
We'll get a little more insight, not much, into what the deal is with Moon before the chapter's out, but that'll be kind of a long-running storyline. As for the source of the voice, we'll see in a few pages.
