Bah, overslept, now having to scramble to get the comic up.
This one, I'm a little shaky on. I like how it came out, but I also wonder if it might be sort of creating the wrong impression on some certain things - the next page I think makes for a good follow-up though.
The plan was really not for not-Ash here (about to get a name incidentally) to get any dialogue until right at the end, but I decided it'd work well to give this end of the plot a little something extra, and allowed for a little exploration of some things. Plus I was kind of realizing just the spectacle alone of what Manslaughter's doing was starting to run a little thin and needed to have more of an actual character for her to be up against.
Think that's about all I've got. Need to write more scripts, actually running kind of low right now.
..... Huh. Yeah, that is what this scene is. A spectacle. I never thought about it like that before.
Again, DO enjoy this scene quite a bit both story and art wise. Think giving some meat to it just for the sake of giving it more attention was a great call. And did enjoy doing more Webcomic cameos.
Speaking of, as of yesterday, every single one of the Webcomic cameos here we've done Webcomicast episodes about. Venus Envy, El Goonish Shive, Misfile, Wotch, and Eerie Cuties. That last one was just recorded the other day, it'll be published on Youtube later this week. ^^
Whoa Manslaughter's pulled out all the stops here, wonder what's going to happen next.
