God, I love Hearsts' storyline. ^^ Again, just fun to work with her in this context and the apartment around her.
I didn't expect the page to be so funny, so I'm a little worried I didn't sell that too well in the artwork. I guess I felt too bad for her just having to sit alone in the apartment missing Flowers, especially after how sad that speech came out. Do still like the shot of her tossing her beer away as I can't ruin that one.
That said, I have no idea why I re-drew that picture from scratch instead of copy/pasting it from the last page. There was utterly no reason not to.
I kind of wonder if I should've maybe made the reflection a little more clean or not. Eh, I dunno, might be better being a little more understated like it is here. Though I forgot that shirt, probably due to being green over green... Yeah, get it in a minute.
Been really liking this story arc myself, but dunno how much more of it we're going to see in this chapter. Certainly more to come, but kind of winding down at this point. Hopefully readers have been liking it so far though and like where it ends up.
Think that's really all I've got, Adam kind of summed it up otherwise. Like the touch with the plate having been broken since last we saw it.
Sick and drunk that does not sound like a good combo, it looks like she's going to drink until she passes out at this point.
Yeah, most likely end result here.
I don't think the reflection is even necessary. A person's face probably wouldn't reflect in a picture frame like that, unless perhaps the photo is covered in glass. Even then there should be a glass-like texture over top and some reflection of light
It's also already been established that A. She is upset and has been drinking and B. She's staring into a picture on the wall
Thus it may not even be needed to have a close-up shot of her expression.I hope this helps.
True, probably shouldn't be a reflection at all, was just kind of an artistic choice. You are right though, might be a little redundant. Either way, thanks for the input, hope we hear more from you in the future!
Yeah, no problem.
