Yeah... Funny thing is this chapter takes place like a week before Marvelous Man debuts. Which also means it takes place before the training chapter in Blues since that was the night before.... I dunno, time-codes in these comics are weird. I try not to think about it.
But yeah, the orignal idea was that Mr. Atlanta had natural flight, but at some point I realized Grant was the only naturally-flying person in our universe, so I got kinda fussy about him losing that distinction. I whined to Martin about it and he shifted it so Mr. Atlanta's flight is through his devices, hence why he has those gauntlets and slightly-more-detailed boots since we last saw him.
Marvelous Man does wreck that a bit, but his flight is going somewhere... Again, Mr. Atlanta is drawn slightly differently to keep the characters from looking too similar. Hope it works nicely enough. ^^
Think it shows a bit, though by this page it's already eased off a little, that Adam hasn't had as much experience with keeping Misty's redesign in place as some others given she's spent most of the chapter wearing a mask. She'll be without it the rest of this chapter, but dunno how much she will or will not have it on in the next couple.
Ugh, some distractions going on, taking me out of the moment on actually commenting. But yeah, if nothing else, did like working in this little bit here - just nodding toward the Marvelous thing, which we'll see some actual mentions of soon. I'm kind of thinking this is taking place the day before or so, somewhere in that range, given I do have an idea on wanting to reference it soon. One nice thing about Blues, it's a lot more up in the air when exactly everything takes place so can sort of slide it around when needed.
Anyone else picturing the dialogue from the Street Fighter movie when Bison starts levitating in that one panel?
This is getting interesting wonder what's going to happen next.
