Eheh.... Yeah, you guys ever stop and think about how complacent Sareena was in what happened to Alex? I'm kinda curious how much thought goes to that, especially since the comic is about to dive into it.
Whatever, we'll get to that in the coming weeks. Kinda feeling a bit bad on the "blob-crowd" thing. I really enjoy it but I'm clearly over-using it here and could've done better by showing more people in the crowd in various panels. Was especially nice seeing the few familiar faces we have seen, in particular some of the victims of Manslaughter's attack. Kinda disappointed with the page in that respect since I can't stop seeing it. Will probably try and use that less in the future, especially since an upcoming Blues page is pretty bad about it.
Not sure what all to say on this one, but pretty happy with it overall. Doesn't help as I'm typing this phone right next to me's ringing and it's someone I don't intend to answer it for.
Okay, there. That's done with. Now then...
I've kept meaning to go a little bit further into the Alex situation with Sareena and sort of lay out the specifics of that a little better, particularly since I don't think what exactly happened has ever been conveyed very well in BP. Given the subject of this chapter and Dan's earlier speech, this felt like a good place to get into it as well as some of the lead-up to it happening and fallout.
Probably have more to say over the next couple of pages talking about it as a result. Dan's speech being reiterated somewhat was mostly so Sareena could hear it,so tried to at least take it in a different direction, have it more sort of reserved and relieved than how fiery it was before.
I believe there are six pages left in the chapter but not 100% on that. Either way, we're winding down, and hopefully everyone enjoys what all's still to come!
This is a neat page wonder what's going to happen next.
