I really love the color scheme Martin gave Power here. Plays nicely with her hair and just looks nice. .... Though really, she should've been wearing her money-shades. Would've completed the outfit and feel sorta stupid I left those out.
All the same though, so love seeing more of Hazel and Mercy together. Specifically the latter's paper-thin facade of caring about Hazel. I don't even know if he's doing it for the sake of the fact that they're "officially" partners, or if it's just his way of insulting him even further. Either way I do love how he just radiates insincerity. Plus Hazel's been a lot of fun to draw since his re-design so good to see more of him too.
.... When did that tattoo become a bear-claw? I wanna say it was at first just a meaningless fake tribal symbol douchebags get tattooed on them, back when it was just barely peeking out from under his shirt. Was it always a bear claw? Martin?
Yeah, wanted to give Power a bit more dynamic coloring than is typical for her here, mix things up a bit. Need to get her in color schemes like this more often really.
But yeah, I dunno, guess that's just how Mercy's tattoo wound up coming out. Kind of fits him for it to be this way really, seems like the kind of thing he'd think is cool.
Not sure how much else I've really got to say on this one offhand, but I quite like how it came out, yeah. We'll be cutting away from these two in the next page but quite eager to get back to them.
