.... There's no way the undertones for this are unintentional. Martin and Abe are awesome, but one or both of them must've planned that. I mean, look at it.
Or maybe it's just me. Maybe I'm the pervert.
Great motion conveying in the second panel, though. ^^
Abe mentioned in the e-mail he sent to me with the page that he was going for more of an animalistic thing, but did point out the implications so if nothing else he was aware of them. As for me, pretty much what I was going for.
Should note that in a few pages Adam takes over for a bit - Abe was held up a bit, so he handled a good four or five pages. Just about done with having the chapter ready, and just passed the halfway point on posting it.
Here are his comments on the subject -
Just when you think it's safe to rest, the Vampire strikes when you least expect it. Most vampires in fiction are supposed to be all romantic and brooding but then again there's a fine line between passion and hunger. Take that TWILIGHT! You and your high brow reinventing of Dark Romanticist genre. The first time I remember Vampires as so blood thirsty was in that Book "I am Legend." Although it would evolve the Apocalypse Fiction and turn it into more of a Zombie genre, it's one of the rare instances where Vampires are only interested in blood and battle, at least those who were dead already. And as things look bad now, you know they can only get worse.
